OPPAA Scholarship Fund: Class of 2025 Announced

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – We are proud to announce that for over 25 years, the Outdoor Power Parts and Accessories Association (OPPAA) has been awarding scholarships to its members and their families. The OPPAA Scholarship Fund has granted nearly 80 scholarships, totaling $170,000, to high school and college students. From all the active OPPAA, the history of the scholarship program is a testament to the unwavering commitment, and generosity, of our industry participants who make this impactful journey possible.
To celebrate, the OPPAA Scholarship Fund is pleased to announce it has awarded three scholarships totaling $7,000 to its 2025 class of recipients.
Recipients for the 2025 awards are: Joseph Sumoski Jr. of Glennville, Georgia; Giuliana Hulesch of Sullivan, Ohio; and Jade Wang of Duluth, Georgia.
The educational charity fund is designed to advance the academic pursuits of employees and the children of employees who are employed by OPPAA member companies. Scholarship recipients for this year represent the Rotary Corporation, Stanley Black & Decker, and The Toro Company, in which were chosen from an array of remarkable applicants.
The OPPAA Scholarship Fund governing body includes the following Trustees: Mark Errick, D.E. Errick, Inc.; Sue Chaney, K-C Sales; Scott Rutledge, Medart Engine; Darold Dunham, Power Distributors; and Ed Nelson, Rotary Corporation. Staff include Brandon Martin and Suzanne Shomers of the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute (OPEI).
